ElevATE is proud to announce that development of the 1.6Gbps Rainier product is nearing completion and the team will soon submit the final set of production masks to manufacturing.
Rainier is a fully integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) Pin Electronics solution that provides all analog and digital functions required to implement eight fully independendent channels for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications. The driver has been significantly improved to support higher waveform integrity and robust cable loss compensation. All high speed data and enable input paths, and dual per-channel comparator output paths have independently controlled deskew capability with 4.0ns range and 3ps resolution. Each channel provides a three level driver supporting -1.5V to +4.5V output swings with HiZ capability, complementary window and differential mode comparators, a 1mA / 24mA active load, and a four quadrant gangable PMU with five current ranges from ±4uA to ±40mA. Independent DC level setting DACs and all related support circuitry is provided on a per-channel basis.
Rainier fills an underserved market need for a high performance pin electronics solution offering high integration density, industry leading 500mW per-channel power dissipation while remaining at a very competive per-channel price.
