Senior Applications Engineer

Elevate is currently seeking an Senior Applications Engineer to grow our technical support team in our San Diego, CA office. As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the roadmap for our products and helping us expand our business.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Elevate products at customer sites
- Be able to assess market needs and feed their requirements back to the engineering teams
- Interface with internal engineering teams to help bring new products from initial concept through production release by assisting with new product definition, bench validation, and generation of technical documentation
- Perform bench testing and analysis to support customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues. Reproduce customer observations and provide technical guidance on how to use Elevate parts
- Generation of technical documentation for Elevate products including datasheets, product guides, application notes and other material to support integration of these devices into customer systems.
- Analyze competitive landscape and identify differentiation for Elevate IC products
- Coordinate with the sales team through the entire sales process
- Assist with product recommendations for new customer designs
- Assist with on-site customer visits to promote Elevate IC products
Required Skills
- BS/MS in Engineering from a reputable institution
- 5-10+ Years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-tech industry
- Extensive expertise in the use of electronic bench equipment, with a hands-on approach to lab work and a strong track record in debugging, probing, and characterizing silicon using a wide range of custom-made and standard equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, source measurement units, and more
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Exceptional system and circuit level troubleshooting capability, with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Solid understanding of transistor level circuits and their applications in practical designs
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, consistently delivering high-quality results within deadlines
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with the ability to develop scripts or code to automate tasks and enhance efficiency
- Flexibility for international travel is required
